In memory of my dear mum Mary Patterson of ellington Northumberland. Mum was such an inspitation to us all, She had so many tragic losses in her life and still soldiered on with a smile until ovarian cancer took her life in February 2012 after an 11 month battle . I completed a charity cycle ride in 2012 in India through womanvcancer in memory of my mum and raised over £4000 which was divided by three major cancer charities including Ovarian cancer action. I had a wonderful experience and shared many an eventful day with likeminded women who greatly inspired me and helped me through a difficult time. I hope to do this all again in Cuba 2014.
